Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Ibis Sydney World Square is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and public transport, including train and tram stations, with Circular Quay within walking distance for some. Many guests found the rooms comfortable, with comfortable beds and useful amenities like kettles, coffee, tea, mini-fridges, and ironing facilities in some rooms. While the hotel is generally well-maintained, a few guests have noted that the rooms could benefit from some updating. However, many appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms, especially for those sharing, and the effective blackout blinds.

unreplenished food strong smell

The breakfast was not good. it was very disappointing, we arrived at 9:20 and everything was gone and not replenished. i would not recommend breakfast here. the room also was not very clean. It had a very strong smell of air freshener. it was quite overpowering and made it hard to relax. the ventilation in the room was also defective, the air felt stagnant and stuffy.

Acceptable stay in central location

central location steel shutter faulty tv small drain

The hotel is near many shops and dining spots. I found it quite convenient. My room was also very quiet, despite its central location. The double glazing and steel shutter were very helpful.

The TV in my room didn't work. Only one of the six charging points functioned. The shower design was flawed. A small drain combined with a large shower head risked flooding the bathroom.
